Want Or Need

We want to keep our money, but we need to part ways with it to honor our responsibilities. That’s if we don’t want to end up in a situation we really don’t need. — Henery X
Question: Can everyone live their dream? Answer: Barring any physical limitations, mostly, yes, everyone can live their dream.
Question: Will everyone live their dream? Answer: Unfortunately, not everyone will live their dream.
Why?
Well, there are many reasons. But I believe the number one reason many will not live their dream is because their want won’t evolve into a need.
A want is something we can do without, while a need is a necessity, which means it’s something we must have.
Now, do we need to live our dream? Absolutely not. But does the average person want to live their dream? Absolutely. I know you just read how I played with the two words that are the topic of discussion for this offering, but trust me, my words are not meant to be played with. I’m attempting to show that though the said words are different, they both play an important part in whether we will live our dream.
Mostly, every desire starts out as a want. Some circumstance sparks the thought that a change would be good, but without action, things will remain the same or get even worse. Change requires a sacrifice. The greater the sacrifice, the greater the change will be. Need replaces want when actions produce a significant change. The said change will inspire a need to want to make more sacrifices, which will eventually produce the desired result. If we’re not willing to work for what we want, we’ll never get what it is we feel we need.
The primary factor in the above paragraph is that change requires a great sacrifice, narrowing it down to just, sacrifice. Many of us aren’t willing to sacrifice what’s required to live our dream, and therefore our wants don’t evolve into needs. If we were dying of thirst, most of us would use every second we have attempting to find water. Seeing water is a necessity for maintaining life. Not saying not living our dreams will bring about our demise, but it’s something that will make living more pleasurable. Sure, we all have priorities, but everything we do isn’t a priority. And it’s the time from the things we don’t need to do, that we can invest into the things we want to do, with the intent of eventually living our dream.
What we invest our time and energy in is a clear sign of what’s most important to us at that very moment. — Henery X
Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my offering.
Remember. I’m not here to convince you to believe. I’m here to offer you something else to consider.
May we never lose our desire to outdo what we’ve already done.
Peace, Love, and the utmost Respect.
