Time Management

Time is not an illusion. It’s the currency of life, which allows us to invest in living.-Henery X

Time Management

I was in a race against time

But at a quarter after nine

I was done

As it continued to run

Moving at the same pace

As if it didn’t have a second to waste

And as I observed its motion

I had this notion

To emulate

See, I realized I was allowing time to dictate my fate

To be at my best

It’s a must that I get the proper amount of rest

This is called time well spent

A second is a dollar, not a cent

So, the question became. How will I spend my dollars?

Will it be through interacting with deans and scholars?

Intending to evolve my comprehension

For self-improvement or so I can be in contention

With friends who become foes

Because my highs bring about their lows

Now the sky knows my nose

Better than the people who once knew me

You know, the same people who now say screw me

And that they wish they never knew me

No, Sir

Not I

Until the day I die

I’m gonna continue to provide answers to the question why

So others will do and never try

Soar and not just fly

And know that the limit is not the sky

But the Universe,

Always search for correct knowledge as if it’s water and you’re dying of thirst,

Allow proper understanding to be your doctor and your nurse

And never lose sight of the fact you’re a gift that wasn’t meant to be affected by a systematic curse

The moral of the story is not to waste time worrying about time, but to ensure that we spend our time wisely. See, time is all about seconds, minutes, and hours. This is its nature, which it never stops or changes. How can we compete with tunnel vision such as this? We have to use our time on our terms but, like time, ensure our routines will evolve into habits, which will eventually become second nature.

What we invest our time in indicates what matters most to us at that very moment.-Henery X

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my offering.

Remember. I’m not here to convince you to believe. I’m here to offer you something else to consider.
