Writer’s Way writing prompt
In 300 words or less create a poem or short story to, “Suppose The Wind Blows…” Inspired by The Bonus Daughter Of Zeus, who is one of the eight moderators over at Writer’s Way.

Imagine That

Suppose the wind blows and whispers, “You can do all things.” Would you believe or continue to allow your lower self to deceive? Signs and symbols for the conscious mind. We exist in dangerous times. So, why not choose to live your life with no restrictions? Develop some new addictions. Like joy and courage. And if you fail, oh well. Get back up and do it all over again because in the end, as long as we never quit, we win. Some victories are as simple as getting started. Taking just one step from where you once stood is sooooooo good. Forward motion can spark devotion and before you know it, you’ll go from playing in puddles to sailing across oceans. Imagine that. Doesn’t it seem like it could be more than just a dream? It feels like a possibility. Like it can be seen. Like it can be touched. Well, it can and it should. You say if you could, you would. And I say, what’s stopping you outside of yourself? Get out of your own way and own this day. Why not, seeing for not one second you have to pay. But you will need to spend plenty of them if you expect to accomplish your goal. Just be sure to never sell your soul. Because it’s not that serious. Besides, if you want to remain in control, you need to ensure you remain whole, plus a body with no soul commits acts that are so cold. So, allow your warm ways and clean plays to be the reason for your best days.
