A poem

The Challenge: Take eight words {waste, poetry, talkative, strategic, rally, horse, compartment, and piano} and create a poem. You can arrange the words in any manner you see fit. I chose to go in the order they were presented. This challenge is thanks to a creative on Medium.

One thing I won’t do is waste a person’s time That’s like intentionally playing games with a person’s mind Poetry is just one of my many means to an end I put letters together so clever that I can turn a foe into a friend Though I can be quite talkative, I’m not into frivolous conversations I’m strategic with helping to guide others towards their desired destinations I ask my literary comrades to come rally around the situation And they do so without questions or hesitation Like a horse out the gate after the gun We won’t stop until what we’re here to do is eventually done A compartment isn’t necessary because although we have more styles than a piano has keys For us, working as one is simply a breeze

I Am a reader, who writes as well. I write because I can read, and I read because I have an insatiable hunger to know. -Henery X

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my offering. May all you deserve and desire flow abundantly into your life, as a river does into a sea.

Remember. I’m not here to convince you to believe. I’m here to offer you something else to consider.

May we never lose our desire to outdo what we’ve already done.

Continue to be a lighthouse for all those who feel lost in the sea of life.

Peace, Love, and the utmost Respect.
