I Know What I Know

It’s not just about what we know, but how we use it as well that will determine the degree of its value.

Correct knowledge applied appropriately is invaluable, but if not, it will seem worthless.

I can give you a detailed blueprint, but if you don’t follow it to the letter, it will not produce the desired result. It takes more than just having the blueprint for it to work. You also need to know how it works appropriately as well.

We all know how to run, some of us better than others. But without the proper training, none of us could qualify for the Olympics. Knowing is half the battle won, the other half is having what we know help us succeed.

One of my goals is to create a blueprint that will help others, no matter what the situation may be. And I believe I have created a formula that will make my desire a reality.

The formula results from me studying my past successes, intending to discover the common themes. I concluded that if something helped me on over three occasions, it will help me forever.

I’ve discovered there are six steps I must initially take if I expect to accomplish any goal.

These six steps are non-negotiable. If I do not honor these six steps, I can forget about living my dreams.

The six steps are:

(1) To mentally visualize myself having what it is I want

(2) To establish an unwavering belief that I will have what it is I want

(3) To create various plans that align with my desire

(4) To have an impeccable work ethic

(5) To have a great attitude

(6) To be consistent with the first five steps

A Brief breakdown of the six steps:

Mental Visualization

If we can’t clearly mentally visualize ourselves with whatever it is we want, we won’t have it. What blurs the vision is doubt. We can’t confess to want something and then doubt we’ll receive it.

Unwavering Belief

No matter what obstacles attempt to stop us, and there will be many, our desire has to be greater. One of the easiest things in the world for us to do is give up, just as one of the hardest things for us to do is keep going. And our desire will determine which option will eventually win out over the other.

Various Plans

Options are a great thing, the more the merrier.

The more options we have, the better chance we have of accomplishing our goal. It is common for the first plan to not produce the desired result. It’s usually just a test of our desire. And what makes giving up so appealing after the first plan doesn’t produce the desired result is the fact so much went into creating it. The number one and two things we focus on most are time and energy. The thought is, “If the plan didn’t work, this has to mean that I’m not meant to accomplish this goal.” So, we abort the goal, just as doubt pushes us to do. True failure is when we stop attempting to succeed. Everything else is just options not meant to produce the desired result.

Impeccable Work Ethic

It takes time and energy to accomplish any goal. The amount we’re willing to invest involving both will determine when, and if, we’ll accomplish the goal. With time, we should designate a reasonable amount and we should spend every second doing nothing but attempting to accomplish the goal. Let me repeat this: With time, we should designate a reasonable amount and we should spend every second doing nothing but attempting to accomplish the goal. Why designate time to do something specific, but we’re doing other things that don’t align with the agenda as well? It defeats the purpose. The time designated should be the same daily, and we should make it known we’ll be unavailable at the set time.

A Great Attitude

Having a great attitude will attract the people who will know what we know not. At some point, we’ll need the assistance of others if we expect to accomplish our goal. Nothing of significance has ever been brought into existence due to one person. Sure, we’ll initiate the process, but at some point, it’ll grow beyond our understanding. We’ll need to gain the assistance of those who specialize in certain areas, and our attitude will determine if we succeed or not. Sure, money will be a factor as well, but for some, no amount of money is worth working with an unfriendly person. Having a poor attitude will stagnate progress, seeing as we won’t be able to move beyond the point where we can get ourselves to.

Consistency

If we are not consistent with every aspect of the first five steps, we can forget about accomplishing any goal. We must honor the description of the steps in question to the letter. Where most fall short of accomplishing their goals is the fact they don’t stay consistent with the entire routine they set up for themselves. The routine means nothing if we’re not consistent in the practice of it daily.

Well, they you have it. My blueprint on how I have accomplished every goal I set out to achieve.

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my offering. May all you deserve and desire flow abundantly into your life, as a river does into a sea.

Remember. I’m not here to convince you to believe. I’m here to offer you something else to consider.

May we never lose our desire to outdo what we’ve already done.

Continue to be a lighthouse for all those who feel lost in the sea of life.

Peace, Love, and the utmost Respect.
