God’s Child

2023, Henery X

Remind me why the thoughts of others should matter more than mine when it comes to me....

If I want to do it my way

Why do they feel the need to say what they say?

People have some nerve

To want to give me directions when their vehicles stay parked beside the curve

Always talking but never doing

From the bed to the couch is the only goal they ever think of pursuing

It won’t work, you’re wasting time

These are the words that come from the mouth of a person with an idle mind

Or a mind that’s blind

Because it possesses no vision

Unlike mine, which is faithful to every goal like the typical lover of God is to religion

No work, no reward

And I punch the clock for the Lord

So not showing up on time is a price I can’t afford

Burying talents won’t occur here

Let’s be clear

Not pleasing the Most High is my greatest fear

Don’t waste time, energy, and words attempting to convince others of what you plan on doing. Invest these jewels into accomplishing the goal and then allow the result to speak for itself once it’s complete.-Henery X

Writer’s Way is a club I started on Clubhouse. It’s a safe space where readers and writers come together and support one another. If you’re in search of a community where you’ll always leave feeling better than when you arrived, then look no further than Writer’s Way. Your Voice Matters. So, come allow it to be heard.

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my offering. May all you deserve and desire flow abundantly into your life, as a river does into a sea.

Remember. I’m not here to convince you to believe. I’m here to offer you something else to consider.

Continue to be a lighthouse for all those who feel lost in the sea of life.

May we never lose our desire to outdo what we’ve already done.

Peace, Love, and the utmost Respect.
