What’s The Most Popular Shirt On The Planet?

Have you guessed the answer? If so, good for you. But for those who may still have guesses racing throughout their minds like cars at the Indy 500, let me put your mind at ease. Drum roll, please. And the answer is — T-shirt.
It’s safe to say that every adult human (as well as some little humans striving to become adults) has or have had a T-shirt. But why, you may wonder, is this shirt as popular as I’m so boldly claiming? The all important “why.” Well, there are several reasons no other shirt can hold a candle to the one that starts with the letter T.
Comfort
T-shirts are usually lightweight, so they don’t weigh the wearer down. In fact, they’re so comfortable you can forget you’re even wearing a shirt at all. Now, tell me what other shirt can make a claim such as this.
Convenience
T-shirts are those go-to garments for any occasion. Running errands, attending events, entertaining guests, or just lounging in the comforts of your home. T-shirts are usually the co-star of our super star presence.
Conversation Starters
You want to be the center of attention no matter where you appear? Then show up wearing a T-shirt designed to have all eyes on you. It’s a proven fact that the average person is going to glance, look, and all out stare at a T-shirt with something worthwhile on the front of it. And if the image or phrase is appealing enough, it will drive people to say things like: “Hey, I love your T-shirt.” “Wow! Where’d you get that shirt?” “Cool Tee, my man.” And more than likely the wearer is going to respond accordingly. See, I told you they were conversation starters.
They Give People A Glimpse Of The Way You Think
Once I realized the power of the T-shirt, I wanted to use them to draw attention to my writing. So, I co-created a T-shirt company and began putting some of my quotes and acronyms on them. Writing is my means to fulfill the purpose. I know this now without a doubt. So, I want my words to be seen by as many eyes as possible. And what better way to go about accomplishing this goal than by putting them on T-shirts? Remember. It’s a proven fact that the average person is going to glance, look, and all out stare at a T-shirt with something worthwhile on the front of it. And I keep whatever I place on the T-shirt easy to read but powerful in its intent. As with all my writing, my T-shirt images are intended to have the observer think and desire to act on their thoughts as well.
Below are photos of me modeling a few T-shirts displaying thoughts that came from my mind. And these thoughts were appealing enough where people have been willing to part ways with their hard earned money to possess them. Now, that’s what you call manifesting ideas that truly matter.

I birthed this quote from the fact that I’m always in search of utter clarity. One reason I love interacting with others is because it allows me to weigh up their perspectives against my own. And whichever one makes the most logical sense at the time will be the one I move forward with. But no conclusion is ever set in stone, for there are way too many more perspectives to consider.

This acronym would be partially responsible for me writing my third book. The acronym in question started an article I wrote and submitted to a publication, which wanted to know our thoughts on what power meant to us. My article didn’t make the cut, and the rejection motivated me to write my third book, The Gumbo: Food For Thought. And wouldn’t you know it, the name of the publication is — The Gumbo. Of course I sent them an email thanking them for the motivation.

This acronym came about after I thought about all the people who had assisted me on my journey to becoming an entrepreneur. From those who offered financial support, encouraging words, and everything else in between, they all needed to be shown my appreciation. So, I reached back and offered whatever assistance they needed and I could give. We can’t forget those who never forgot to remember us.

I created this acronym because I love the city I was born, raised, and still live in. I always tell people that if Detroit wasn’t a city, this acronym could be the symbol for success in any endeavor involving multiple people.

This quote came about during a conversation I was having with two people and during an Instagram Live. For whatever reason, I said, “Writing isn’t a hobby or a profession, it’s a lifestyle.” The other two people, a man and woman, and both writers, said they liked that. The man said he was going to have it put on a T-shirt (yes, he said this to me, the man known for creating T-shirts). Long story short, right after the Live I spoke to my very wise and lovely advisor, who told me I should shorten it, which I did. And later that day we placed it on a T-shirt, and the T-shirt on my website. A week later, I wore it during an Instagram Live I hosted and thanked the brother for planting that seed in my mind.
