The mind is deeper than the seven seas combined. So, why should we allow our thoughts to tread water when our thinking can reach depths of greatness?-Henery X

As We Think….

Imagine earning a living selling your opinion to people. Sounds too good to be true, huh? Well, I’m here to tell you it’s indeed true. Why would someone be willing to pay a person for their opinion, you may wonder? It’s simple, they find value in it.

It’s a proven fact that people will pay for what they want, what they need, and anything that will help them get both. So, if someone believes your opinion can help produce a want, a need, or both, they will gladly pay you for it. Their thought, “What a small price to pay to accomplish my goal.”

Never underestimate the power of your thoughts because when you do, they depreciate. The way we think is priceless, but only when we never doubt this.

From helping us to see things differently to helping us make our thoughts a reality, the mind has layers no one has discovered yet. We have just scratched the surface of arguably the greatest creation ever created. Because no matter how amazing something that was brought into existence may be, there’s always something ten times better waiting in the wings for its moment to take center stage.

Below are just a few signs of how I choose to use the gift of thinking and making my thoughts tangible.

Something To Make You Go Hmm

The past, present, and future all happen simultaneously. What happens in the present becomes the past the second after it’s done and it becomes the future because it previously didn’t exist.

Overthinking complicates matters. Simplifying living life is what I aim to do. This is my definition of work smarter, not harder. Wisdom of this nature makes earning money as easy as writing and sharing this offering.

People will pay for solutions that not only solve problems but just as important, ensure they never exist as well.

The Platform

During the moment in question, I began making two significant thoughts a reality.

I was sitting in my room and the thought of interviewing other writers came to the forefront of my mind. So, I immediately took action. I sent a DM (Direct Message) to sixty of my literary comrades on Instagram, asking if I could interview them. And to my surprise, all sixty reached back and agreed to honor my request. Now, I had to come up with a name for my soon to be platform. Since I was all about positive energy, the name had to align with this. After serious consideration, I decided on Positive Place.

Two years in, I would interview over three hundred people and Positive Place became the place to be. But alas, someone hacked my page and Positive Place ceased to exist. I seriously thought of leaving Instagram out of disappointment and frustration, but the love and support of the people wouldn’t allow me to give up. So, I created a new page and came up with a new name for the platform that would have the same theme. And this is how Your Voice Matters came to be.

An Unexpected Blessing

A few hours after I had secured the sixty interviewees, I received an email from a publication called The Gumbo. They were informing me that an article I submitted to them hadn’t made the cut. Not only was I disappointed, but I was upset as well. I had really put some thought into that article and to have had it rejected; didn’t sit right with me. But instead of simmering in my sorrows, I decided I was going to do something positive with that energy.

My decision was to create a book and entitle it, The Gumbo: Food For Thought. To date, the book in question has been my greatest seller. It’s in homes all around the world. I sent the publication a photo of me holding the book and thanked them for the motivation. They were ecstatic to know they played a significant part in something so meaningful.

So, how are you using your mind?

I invested time, energy, and money into creating a means to live and not just merely exist. Was it a simple journey? Absolutely not. Was it worth it? Well, put it like this. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t subtract a second, a wattage, or a penny.-Henery X

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my offering. May all you deserve and desire flow abundantly into your life, as a river does into a sea.

Remember. I’m not here to convince you to believe. I’m here to offer you something else to consider.

May we never lose our desire to outdo what we’ve already done.

Continue to be a lighthouse for all those who feel lost in the sea of life.

Peace, Love, and the utmost Respect.
