The Beginning Before The End

Behind the scenes is where the actual work begins. It’s here where we discover what we’re really made of. Our desire is tested via circumstances and if it’s not strong enough, we will give in to defeat. But how do we ensure defeat will never claim victory over us? By not losing sight of the fact why we got started. We saw something clearly in our mind’s eye and we wanted it. But for it to eventually be ours, we need to be willing to go pick it up.
It’s not that we’re chasing something that’s already ours, it’s just that we need to go pick it up. It was ours the second after we saw it clearly in our mind’s eye. As long as doubt does not blur that vision, it will always wait for us.
Another way to stay focused is to reflect on how far we’ve come. Our progress isn’t something we should ever take lightly. Remember. There was a time we didn’t stand where we now do. Don’t we owe it to ourselves to keep going? We didn’t start this journey to stop due to rough terrain or choppy waters. No, these things can’t be stronger than our desire. We saw it clearly in our minds, so this means that it’s ours. But we won’t get it if we’re not willing to go pick it up.
Remember. It’s not moving, it’s sitting patiently, anticipating our arrival. Now all we need to do is figure out the best route that will get us to its location. And this, my friends, is the most difficult portion of the journey ahead of us. Because we already know what it is we want, we just don’t know where it is. Plans offer clues, while clues get us closer to our desired destination.
