Observation


Creative writing isn’t just about what’s written, but how and why it’s written as well. The “how” will determine if the “why” resonates or not. If our goal is to motivate others, then what we write should represent this without fail. Having readers guess or assume should never be part of the formula. We should always want people to know exactly what we mean. So, rushing and being impatient can’t interact with our means to make motion. Not taking our time is how it’s wasted. Literary masterpieces result from patience; it takes time to create something timeless.


Correct Knowledge


Proper word selection and placement are vital in the grand scheme of things. This process in itself is truly the deciding factor of a hit or a miss. The wrong words at the right time could ensure our words are never read again. There’s always more than one word that can help us get our point across. The goal should always be to select the best word out of the bunch. This should be determined by gathering all the relevant words and seeing which one not only looks better but, just as important, sounds better as well. So, reciting what’s written and being honest with what we hear has to be more than optional.


Proper Overstanding


Remember. What we create and put out into the world will represent us in our physical absence. So, the number one question should always be: how do I want to be represented? Do you want to be remembered for having helped others to help themselves? Then, allow this to be reflected in everything you do. Like the late great Maya Angelou said: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” To make a person feel what we have to offer, it has to come straight from the heart. Heartfelt words can motivate motionless masses to become a meaningful movement.


Words have power. So, never underestimate the power of words.-Henery X

Truth To Power

I’m about to speak truth to power, This is your time: every second, every minute, every hour.


When you cleanse your mind,

Of being second in line.


You quench your thirst,

Of being first,

The energy burst.


Will feel like nothing known,

As you soar through different dimensions, seeing things that were never shown.


Now you overstand,

God’s plan,

For you to be a star, and not just a fan.


Your purpose isn’t potential, it’s precise,

You just need to be willing to break the ice,

And realize mediocre will never suffice,

Never think twice.


To grab success by the hand,

And become the leader of the dance.


You gotta believe,

You can achieve,

Every thought your mind can conceive.


And never think nothing less than the very best,

And nothing less than the very best,

Will be made manifest.


We attract what we reflect,

So don’t worry, they’ll be an automatic disconnect.


From negative intervention,

And oh yeah, let me make mention,

Like minds gravitate towards good intentions.


All ready and willing,

To play the hero, and not the villain.


I pray you understand what needs to be overstood,

To have you go from thinking I could,

To I should.


To I shall,

Until your lungs fail,

To inhale and exhale.
