Creative Writing Is My Purpose

When my spirit is free, I feel….
Such serenity when I write
Way before the first morning light
Not a sound can be heard
Outside of my mind whispering the sweetest words
Ever so clear
Into my ear
And to the point creativity comes near
Showing me things
That advances my dreams
From a poem to a short story
And the Most High gets all the Glory
You see, it’s not my comprehension
But Divine Intervention
Mind and spirit one and the same
My nature is too natural to tame
I don’t care about fortune or fame
I just want the planet’s population to never forget my name
