Opposites Attract

She's The Light To My Darkness

I Danced at Dawn with a Damsel, who wasn’t in Distress. She was Dainty, and I was Dashing. As the crowd looked on in Disbelief, I placed my lips on hers and we kissed. Everyone wondered how could someone so Dastardly attract such a Darling of a Dove. They Didn’t realize she was infatuated with the Daredevil that lived to Dazzle crowds with Dangerous feats no average Dude would Dare Do. A man never Defined by the thoughts of others and Dedicated to Defying mediocre Decisions. See, the Demeaning Delusions did not sway her. They only Drove her deeper into my Domain, which brought light into my Darkness.

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my offering.

My goal is to do an alliteration for all twenty-six letters in the alphabet. Currently, I have nineteen done. This is a writing exercise I recommend to all those who want to sharpen their creative blade. The objective is to take twenty-six words that all start with the same letter and create a comprehensible poem or short story. Happy Writing, Family.

May we never lose our desire to outdo what we’ve already done.
