“Dad. When I grow up, I want to be wealthy,” Jeffery Smith said proudly.
“That’s awesome, Jeffery. But being wealthy comes with a great responsibility,” Stevie Smith said.
“What do you mean?”
“You must never allow want to overshadow need. See, son. Sizable sums of money make some people want to live a life they really don’t need to. So, they create conditions they eventually grow to regret.”
“Interesting.”
“I’ve made some poor decisions in my life and they cost me, but the wisdom I gained will ensure you won’t suffer the same or similar outcomes.”
“I love you, Dad.”
