It's about more than meets the eye

Face Facts
Just because we’re passionate about something doesn’t mean others have to be as well. Sure, we’d love for those closest to us to love what we love doing, but if they don’t, will our right to be upset be justifiable? Well, of course it wouldn’t be, but we’re displeased nonetheless. But regardless of the fact, we love the people no less. Hey, we all have the right to do as we please, even if it doesn’t please others.
Common Connections
Instead of being upset with people who don’t relate to what I love doing, I seek out those who have the same interest. The tricky part about this is that they don’t seem to exist offline, well, at least in the area where I live. So, I come online and to places such as Medium, Instagram, and Clubhouse. The three aforementioned spaces exceed my greatest expectations when it comes to connecting with like-minded individuals. I mean, there are literally thousands of people who love to read, write, and discuss both. Thanks to the written word, I have hundreds of literary comrades around the world, some of which I converse with offline. I don’t regard these people as friends, but as family. We help one another to not only be better writers but, just as importantly, better human beings as well.
In Closing
We all have our means to fulfill the purpose, which I believe is for us to create a heavenly condition right here on Earth. It’s not so much about what we do, but what we do with what has been done. When we share the result of what we love doing, this helps us to fulfill the purpose. When we see others have done things, it makes us want to do things as well. We all inspire one another to be our best once we share the results of what we love doing.
So, don’t get upset when relatives don’t get as excited as you when your first book is published. Just know deep down they are happy. And then take your accomplishment where you know people will be just as excited as you are, if not more so.
There’ll always be someone celebrating our success. Even if that someone is just our self. — Henery X
If you don’t have a community of like-minded people who encourage, enlighten, and entertain you, I invite you to join myself and others over at Clubhouse and in the club Writer’s Way. At Writer’s Way we’re not just readers and writers but just as important, we’re family as well.
Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my offering.
Remember. I’m not here to convince you to believe. I’m here to offer you something else to consider.
May we never lose our desire to outdo what we’ve already done.
Peace, Love, and the utmost Respect.
