Be Humble

A drabble

‘A drabble is a short work of fiction of precisely one hundred words. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author’s ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space.’- https://en.m.wikipedia.org>wiki

Be Humble

2024, Henery X

“Son. No matter how successful you become, always be humble,” Michael Westbrook said. He and his son, Mustafa, were sitting in a popular coffee shop.

“Will do, Pops. How could I forget when you provided such a great example? With each of your accomplishments, you acknowledged those who assisted you.”

“One person’s efforts will never be responsible for anything of significance,” Michael Senior said with a smile.

“Team work makes the dream work.”

“Indeed, son.”

“Don’t worry, Pops. I got this.”

“Mustafa. When we display unwavering gratitude, our blessings will flow in abundance.”

“Yes, Sir. I totally understand.”

“I’m pleased.”

Being humble enhances our humility and keeps us from being humiliated.-Henery X

Nothing of significance will ever be obtained overnight, nor could one person ever be responsible for its eventual existence. It takes a team of like-minded individuals, who are always thinking the same thought… success. We must surround ourselves with individuals who are focused on winning and not with those who only think about how the win was won.

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my offering.

Remember. I’m not here to convince you to believe. I’m here to offer you something else to consider.
