Undisputed Truth

As I stand alone in a corner on the crowded floor, I’m the person who the other people can’t seem to ignore, Their animosity, Turns into curiosity, As they wonder why, The visual of my unspoken truth is disturbing their usually comfortably numb lie, See, I’m making a difference without saying a word, Because more often than not, what’s seen is more powerful than what’s heard, In a blink, A few of them think, And this breaks their link, In the chain of fools, Which was created by those who love to make rules… They refuse to follow, Like their personal ideas, their bodies are hollow, In other words, soulless, Making you act at your worst is how they remain at their best, It’s time to break free because it’s free to take a break from the norm, You need to know that you still shine amid the storm, You weren’t born, To conform, With things that don’t align, With the dreams on your mind, Follow your heartstrings, which is the unraveled line of your life, And remember, make sure your success is an even exchange so your time and energy invested will never be regarded as a sacrifice, Follow your first mind and you’ll rarely need to think twice, Though this is free wisdom to get it, you have to pay attention, which is truly a reasonable price.

May we never lose our desire to outdo what we’ve already done.
