Giving Game

She helped me to open my closed mind
 By convincing me overthinking is like a felonious crime

The penalty, keeping me stuck in place
 Don’t judge me because I know your inner court appointed attorney has fought the same case

But if you would have been unlike me and paid just a little more attention
 Your comprehension
 Would have shown you what that first thought was out to make mention

Which was, that it was the real deal
 But most times, what we see has more appeal
 Over what we feel

And that’s okay, it’s just a part of the process
 It only becomes a problem if there’s no progress

See, we were meant to live and learn
 And then convert what we learn into a means that will help us earn
 But sharing the means with the masses should be our primary concern

Because this is what legends are made of
 The ultimate form of giving back, now that’s what I call showing real love

Who could ever forget those who never forgot to remember them
 You won’t just be thought of as a jewel in their life, but also the ultimate gem

I want the world to remember my words more than they do my name
 Because for me it’s less about popularity and more about giving game

For me, true success is measured by how many lives we help change for the best.-Henery X

Remember. I’m not here to convince you to believe. I’m here to offer you something else to consider.

May we never lose our desire to outdo what we’ve already done.
